A Career Awareness program will be launched for elementary and middle school students in Spring Semester 2021. The virtual program will be piloted at Winget Park Elementary, Kennedy Middle and Southwest Middle Schools in the Steele Creek area.
Working with Junior Achievement and Alignment Southwest Charlotte, a series of age appropriate workshops will allow students to match their talents to career options. Fun activities will provide practice of important soft skills.
In addition, the middle school students will be introduced to the Career Pathways and Career Academies available when they enter Olympic High School.
