Career & College Promise Dual Enrollment gives eligible North Carolina high school students the opportunity to get a “jump-start” and earn college credit toward a two-year or four-year degree at Central Piedmont while still in high school. Tuition-free. Career & College Promise offers high school students two academic pathways: Dual Enrollment College Transfer Pathways and Dual Enrollment Career and Technical Pathways. Dual Enrollment College Transfer Pathways include four different pathways designed to meet your general education requirements for a four-year college degree while the Dual Enrollment Career and Technical Pathways offer more than 50 different pathways created to help you get a head start on a great career. You can earn college credits toward a job credential, certificate, or diploma in a technical career. Many North Carolina colleges and even some out of state colleges accept CPCC credits. Certain classes may also count towards your high school GPA as well as your high school credits! Down below is a great video introducing the program with the enrollment steps.
